If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ll know I love a good
competition – anything to stop me from actually doing work! So when I got an e-mail asking me to take part in Passion for Fashion Two run by Money Supermarket, I couldn't not give it a go! I wouldn’t say I
have a passion for fashion, but I love window shopping and I love putting
outfits together – it’s always nice imagining what you’d do if you have all the
money in the world. Plus, the point that Money Supermarket make about people
not getting insurance for their clothes when they go travelling is a good one –
I personally always crap myself when I see my bag go off at the airport! Imagine
losing it all!
ANYWAY. All you have to do is make
three outfits – party, casual and holiday! Each outfit has to tally up to £200,
and you could win either £1000 or a runners up prize of £200. You have until
April 8th to enter, so get going and link me up so I can have a
nose! Here’s all the info.

For me, holidays aren’t about
being completely lazy all the time. I like seeing things and doing things and
making sure I see the world, and so I’ve tried to reflect that (plus, my
shoulders burn so badly I might as well shove them in an oven most years, so at
least this dress would help with that! Uncool, yep!). I’ve lost count of the
amount of times I’ve been stood in historical sites burning like a sausage
because I wore black (stupid), so I’ve tried to keep this outfit a light colour
and the shoes look pretty comfy too! And god I want those sunglasses. As you
can tell from the overall general design of my blog, I love this colour blue
too.
I’ve also included the bikini,
again in the candy colours, I think it’s gorgeous and it would be perfect for
those days when you’ve spent too much time being a tourist and just want to get
down to the beach, easy to keep on underneath this dress!

Not completely sure how I’ve
managed to make this outfit the cheapest out of the lot, usually it’s the other
way round when it’s comes to a going out outfit. I’m completely in love with
the “candy” colours trend at the moment, and so I’ve tried to reflect it in
this outfit, which I built entirely from the shoes. The shoes are from boohoo,
and they come in about five different colours and every single pair is amazing.
I love the shape and the lace on the dress too. Statement necklaces are big
too, and necklaces aren’t something I pay enough attention to, when I look I
always come across one I adore! Candy/baby pink is not a colour I wear enough
of despite the fact that I love it, I should definitely get on wearing more
(or, just generally, more colour all together!).

Can anyone else not see the top in
this outfit? Or is my resolution just a tad crap? Might have to tilt your
laptop screen a little bit, apologies! It is there, I promise! Every single
piece of clothing I’ve used in this outfit has featured on a previous wishlist
post on this blog before – it is exactly my style. It’s generally my take on monochrome,
the gold livens it up a little bit – plus I just love gold, black and white
(plus grey, but you know!). I love the ASOS jewellery, and the gold sandals
from River Island . I think it’s perfect for summer
evenings spent at the pub, cracking!

Love all of these outfits, especially the holiday one. Good luck x
